***Fully booked***No more registration possible***Production and Industrie 4.0: Retrofit (online)

Companies with existing machines often cannot benefit from current Industrie 4.0 applications because their machines do not provide the necessary data. But the machines can be extended with these capabilities!

In order to remain successful in the age of digitalization, it is essential to integrate the large number of existing machines into the Industry 4.0 world and make them fit for the future. This should be done as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Solutions without large investments are required.

The buzzword "digital retrofit" is associated with approaches that can take up and overcome these challenges  and thus also integrate old or not connected machines into the industrial Internet of Things. These existing machines can be enabled to provide data via standardized interfaces with Industrie 4.0 retrofit solutions. This is done either on the basis of data already generated by an old machine or by means of a newly installed sensor system.

What can the participants expect from the exchange of experience? In the almost two-hour session, they will get an overview of the topic of digital retrofitting. The VDMA guidelines will be used to show how the topic can be taken up and how it can be approached systematically and in stages. In addition, the participants will be given an insight into the practical aspects of the topic based on two field reports from the user and solution provider perspective. The perspective of all participants is also interesting: ask questions and bring in your experiences!

The event is aimed at specialists and managers from the fields of production and digitalization.
