The power transmission and fluid power industries are expecting growth of around 3 percent in 2019. The industry focusing on industry 4.0 solutions at the Hannover Messe. The World trade share on the rise.
Parallel to the Hannover Messe on 01.04.2019 there will be a broad overview about OPC UA working groups and their members offered in Hall 19/20. The conference is organized by VDMA together with the OPC Foundation, FieldCommGroup and Deutsche Messe AG.
In this working group, manufacturers of drive technology are working together on a central challenge of Industry 4.0:the standardized possibility for data and information exchange between components, machines and services.
On April 17, 2018, leading manufacturers from the power transmission engineering sector met at the kick-off meeting for the VDMA Industry 4.0/OPC UA drive technology working group. In the inaugural meeting, fundamental issues were discussed and the first measures taken for further work.
