The Electric Power Transmission Engineering working group is the central meeting place for users and manufacturers of electric power transmission engineering. The members of the working group meet biannually at different sites to exchange product-related experiences.
Cast Structure Components in Wind Turbines Working Committee
The working committee “Cast Structure Components in Wind Turbines” has emerged from the “Planet Carriers” working committee. A resulte of the work was the VDMA Specification 23902 “Guideline for fracture mechanical strength assessment of planet carriers made of nodular cast iron EN-GJS-700-2 for wind turbine gearboxes”. It was elaborated in collaboration with gearbox manufacturers, OEMs and certification companies under consideration of current research findings.
